After Killzone 2’s launch 2 years ago, its sequel – Killzone 3 is soon going to release. Without the slightest doubt, we all know how mind-blowingly awesome it’s going to be. If just watching the blockbuster trailers sent you tizzy, wait till you hear this: the game has just gone gold. By ‘gold’ it’s understood that the process of disc manufacturing has begun! February 22, 2011 cannot get here any quicker, can it?
And get this: the game is reportedly said to have over 70 minutes worth of cutscenes alone. That’s surely a lot, but if Guerrilla Games were attempting to set a record, they fell short by 20 minutes in displacing Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. Clocking in at a total of 90 minutes, the game still holds the crown when it comes to the longest amount of cutscenes in a single game. You can rest assured that in all of those 70 minutes, you’ll hear a minimal usage of any explicit words since Guerrilla Games themselves acknowledged that the usage of cuss words was what made prequel embarrassing to play in a room full of younger people.
